From the Amazon to the Andes –
7-Day Sacred Journey
This immersive 7-day experience by Sacred Peru Retreats offers a focused and intentional journey through two of the world’s most powerful spiritual landscapes: the Amazon rainforest and the sacred mountains of the Andes.
Beginning in the Amazon, participants are guided through traditional plant medicine ceremony held by experienced indigenous practitioners, with a strong emphasis on preparation, safety, and respectful integration. From there, the journey ascends into the Andean highlands, where ancient Incan sites, the Sacred Valley, and pilgrimage to Machu Picchu support the embodiment and integration of insights received in the jungle.
This is not recreational travel. It is a consciously designed pilgrimage for those seeking depth without excess—balancing ceremony, movement, and reflection within a carefully held container. Small groups, ethical facilitation, and seamless logistics allow participants to remain present with the experience rather than distracted by travel concerns.
This journey is ideal for conscious travelers who feel called to meaningful inner work, cultural respect, and authentic spiritual engagement—guided with integrity from the Amazon to the Andes.

This opening evening sets the tone for the journey ahead, offering space to rest, acclimate, and receive guidance on preparation for the days to come.

Day3
Return to Lima & Flight to Cusco
After a morning departure from the Amazon, the group returns to Lima and continues onward to Cusco, the historic heart of the Incan Empire. This travel day serves as a powerful energetic bridge between the depths of the jungle and the elevated wisdom of the Andes.
Upon arrival in Cusco, participants are transferred privately to their hotel and encouraged to rest and hydrate as they acclimate to altitude. The evening remains spacious, allowing insights from the Amazon to gently settle.
Focus: Integration, transition, and acclimatization
